At Roles & Goals Therapy Services, our experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs) support children, young people, and adults to build essential daily living skills. Occupational Therapy is about participation — whether that’s getting dressed, playing with friends, managing emotions, writing at school, cooking a meal, or joining in community activities. We also support sensory processing and regulation, helping clients feel more comfortable and confident in their environments. By looking at what’s getting in the way, we work together to build practical strategies, routines, and skills so clients can achieve greater independence and wellbeing.
Our Occupational Therapy team support people to:
Our Occupational Therapy isn’t limited to one setting - we work where it makes the most sense for you. Sessions can take place in our Adelaide clinic, at home, in school, or out in the community. This flexibility means we can target daily living skills and participation in real-life environments, whether that’s practising handwriting at a school desk, learning routines in the kitchen, or building confidence in public spaces.
Therapy works best when it’s guided by clear goals. Using the SMART framework (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound), our OTs create goals that are realistic, meaningful, and trackable.
Sessions are play-based for children, creative for young people, and functional for adults, always focusing on what matters most in daily life. Our Occupational Therapists provide strategies, resources, and coaching in areas such as sensory processing, emotional regulation, and independence so progress continues at home, school, and in the community - not just in the therapy room.

Our Occupational Therapy team complete comprehensive assessments using a mix of standardised tools and collaborative information gathering (from families, schools, and other supports). We then write detailed reports that are tailored to their purpose, whether that’s for NDIS funding, school planning, or family use at home. We offer:
Not sure if Occupational Therapy is right for you? That’s okay. We’re happy to talk it through and help you understand how therapy could support you or your child.
